An additional 350 people a month have moved into the Caboolture Shire over the past two years making it the 5th fastest growing local government area in Queensland and the 10th fastest in Australia.

Its population was 134,820 at the June 30, 2006 Census, the result of a 3.4% annual growth between 2001 and 2006.

By 2026 the population is forecast to be 210,231.

Bellmere had 2,357 residents at Census time, with 45% being couples with children living at home and 37% couples without children.

The average household comprised 3 people and average age was 35.

A new $54 million 'community heart' project is a state-of-the-art cultural and education facility close to the Town square in Beerburrum Road, within the CBD.

For horse lovers, a new $3.5 million State Equestrian Centre is planned for the Caboolture Showgrounds.

Golf

And for golfers, the championship 18-hole Caboolture Golf Club is on a picturesque setting where Warraba Creek flows along many of the undulating fairways.

A recent million-dollar refurbishment makes the clubhouse and functions ideal for corporate golf days and private functions.
